Sheelagh Duffield, DirectorA founding director of Savendie in January 2008 after leaving her role as Legal Director and Company Secretary at ScottishPower. She worked with ScottishPower for 11 years in various roles delivering projects ranging from the sale of divisions, identification of major change initiatives and, most recently, the sale of the company to Spanish utility, Iberdrola. Similar experience gained earlier in her career as Company Secretary and Head of Business Affairs with Scottish Television. Extensive board, governance, investment appraisal and project management experience.
Stephen Owen, DirectorA consultant with over 2 years experience, Stephen set up Savendie in January 2008. Previously he was Corporate Strategy Manager at ScottishPower working closely with the CEO and Board on all aspects of planning, strategy and reorganisation with immense international mergers and acquisitions and project management experience. Recent consultancy engagements have included Communities Scotland, The Scottish Arts Council, a major Engineering Consultancy, Inverclyde Council and the Glasgow Housing Association.
Richard Blackburn, Associate ConsultantRichard Blackburn is an Associate Consultant with Savendie and has many years experience as a consultant in the public sector specialising in business analysis; strategy and planning; performance and continuous improvement; change management and recruitment. Former Managing Director, Commercial Services Group and Chief Executive, Banff & Buchan District Council. Previously worked as a teacher before assuming the role of Assistant Education Director for Grampian Region.
Julian Brown, Associate ConsultantAn experienced consultant with McKinsey and Company before joining ScottishPower as Director, Corporate Strategy. Extensive project management and international strategic planning experience including all strategic initiatives at ScottishPower during a ten year period.
